I have been in the dental field for almost 14 years, 11 ½ of those have been with Emerald West Dental. I am one of Dr. Moss’ main assistants, and I truly enjoy getting to work alongside he and Dr. Hess. I got my certification for dental assisting at Careers Unlimited LLC in Orem, Utah. I originally went to school at ISU in Pocatello, to be a hygienist before switching paths to dental assisting. I love my job, and getting to have a variety of different procedures throughout the day. Cosmetic cases and surgeries are some of my favorite procedures. I love being able to help our patients get that new smile or help improve their overall dental health.

In my spare time I enjoy doing photography with Glean and Co, spending time outdoors hiking or walking on the green belt, eating really delicious food, and spending time with my wife and new baby girl

Kelsi is an Idaho native who has been working in our practice since 2007. She attended the Oregon Institute of Technology where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene.

I have been with Emerald West Dental since 1990. I moved from Australia in 1988 and everyone here at Emerald West are my second family. My husband and I have been married since 1989 and our family has grown with 2 sons, 2 daughter-in-law’s, one adorable granddaughter and 2 dogs! I love to sew, bake, camp and spend time with my family.

When I started in 1990 I never imagined I would still be here all these years later. Now I can’t imagine not being a part of this amazing team and all the great patients and staff members I have met over the years.

Ellen received her Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from Idaho State University. She has been a member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association throughout her career and served two terms as treasurer of their Idaho component. She is passionate about providing services that support total health through the promotion of optimal oral health. Ellen is proud to be an Idaho native.

Dr. Moss graduated from OU College of Dentistry in 1997. He had his own dental practice in Eagle, before partnering with Dr. Hess in 2003. He is a motor-cross enthusiast and loves vacationing with his family.

Dr. Hess has practiced dentistry in Boise since 1989. He graduated from Creighton University, School of Dentistry. He loves spending time with his family, is an avid water-skier and enjoys many outdoor activities.
